Urban Food Group (the owners of Triangle favorites Coquette, Chow, Vivace, and others) is bringing back a legend, a legend with a slightly different “vibe.” Formerly known as Crowley’s Courtyard and Edwards Mill Bar & Grill, “The Mill” will be a fan favorite for stopoffs before events at PNC Arena, Carter-Finley Stadium, or just a cool place to have a great meal and a drink.
The restaurant dining area and restrooms were fully gutted and revamped. Open ceilings now dominate the space! Some nostalgia has returned with “the mill” theme present in the decor, along with some new elements. A glass garage door provides better access to the gorgeous side patio. Restrooms are easily accessible (before, you almost had to go thru the kitchen to get to them). The bar entrance is still on the front and the dining entrance along the side, but both work for either function! It will be “A Shiny Place for Shady People!”
Gontram Architecture and Ten Penny Construction teamed up on the project, which is making its way through final inspections. After some initial staff training, the restaurant should be in full swing very soon!
