After a few technical difficulties with our web hosting, we are now BACK, Baby!
The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is BACK! This is the 26th year in a row (not counting the tournament that was cancelled due to COVID)!
Our NCAA Basketball Pool is also BACK! Entries are due by 12:00PM EDT, Thursday, March 20th!
It seems like the whole country is talking about Duke, Duke, Duke. Well, not me. If you are a fan of the HBO show “White Lotus,” you may know that in season three, the show highlights a family made up entirely of Duke and UNC grads. And, the actors nail it! Dad and the eldest son are Duke grads while Mom and the daughter attended UNC. The youngest son is trying to decide between the two. Without spoiling the plot, you can tell they studied for their roles and captured the elitist attitudes both are prone to emit. Unfortunately, my NCSU Wolfpack are sitting at home wondering how in the world did they make the Final 4 last year (hint: they shouldn’t have) and then fall completely out this year?
Oh well…
Again this year, our pool host is CBS Sports. We have had several great hosts over the years, but this situation maximizes the opportunity for us to continue offering the POOL at NO COST to our participants. Also, our Sponsors continue to be generous, offering great prizes for this event!
