Dozens of chapters of Sigma Nu make a pilgrimage to the place of its founding each year. For many chapters, this is an important element of their candidate education program. Unfortunately, the facilities on the Sigma Nu Headquarters campus were subpar and inadequate to provide proper housing and leadership development space for groups making the trip to Lexington. This, coupled with a vision of a facility capable of hosting a summer leadership development program, led to the Spears Family Epsilon Epsilon Center for Excellence project.
The new building incorporates meeting and breakout rooms for leadership development programs and space for up to 84 overnight visitors. It doubles the educational space now available at Sigma Nu Fraternity Headquarters.
The project was completed in December, 2022.
