First Bank Building

First Bank commissioned Gontram Architecture to design a reconstruction of an inherited, existing bank branch building in Kill Devil Hills, a portion of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The existing branch was experiencing water damage, was severely out-dated and in desperate need of a facelift. Additional office and employee spaces were badly needed in a more efficient floor plan. The existing building was essentially demolished and a new branch constructed in its place.
