It’s Over! NCAA Bowl Pool Winners Announced!

by

BowlPrizesThe magic of Bowl Season is over! This year, we had a rematch from last year with Clemson and Alabama in the National Championship game.  This time, however, the Clemson Tigers came out on top, with only 1 second left on the clock!

The final score was Clemson 35, Alabama 31.

With that, Jeff Troutman takes home 1st Place in our Pool! Logan Hedrick followed closely behind in 2nd Place, nudging out Melissa Smith who came in 3rd.  4th, 5th and 6th places had to be decided by the Tiebreaker!  Sally Elliott came in Last Place and took home the bobblehead.

You can view all of the final reports and standings by going HERE.

As we do every year, Gontram Architecture hosted our Annual NCAA Bowl Game Pick ‘Em Pool! And, as always, this was a FREE pool, open to (almost) anyone, with great prizes for the winners, and a horse’s butt bobble head trophy for the last place winner!

As in year’s past, bowl game points are based upon their payout value rounded to the nearest million. For instance, a lot of bowl games pay out $1,000,000 to the teams so it is worth 1 point. However, the larger BCS and playoff games may pay out $18 million to those teams, so that game is worth 18 points. A 5 point bonus is given to the National Championship Game, so that game is worth 23 points.

A special thanks to our Sponsors for the fantastic prizes…
