Concrete cutting and removal was underway this week at the Michael Jordan Collision Center in Durham, NC.  Slabs were removed to make way for under-slab plumbing and ventilation pits for the new body shop.

Next week, the plumbing (trench drains and sanitary sewer lines) work begins underground rough-in operations.  After that, construction really amps up a notch as we can button up the slab and start building from the slab up.

Some exploratory rock excavation also took place out back, and with construction staking now complete, work on the rear drive will continue next week.

This project is being delivered to the Owner via the turnkey Architect-led Design-Build method with Gontram Architecture and Ten Penny Construction.
